We made it through the first month, Otters! Huge thank you to all of our amazing families and staff for helping us kick off a smooth and joyful start to the school year. Popsicle passes are still available here! No more looking for cash, quarters, or dimes in the morning, just get that popsicle pass and your kids are set for the rest of the year! Sign ups are also still available to help with Wednesday popsicle sales.
One of Ortega’s teachers is looking for a new place to rent in or near Pacifica. They are hoping to find a place by November 1st, 2026. If you know of an available rental or have a local contact who may be able to help, please contact the Christina at president@ortegapto.org.

We need you
Popsicle Sales
Sign up to sell popsicles after school on Wednesdays. Through October 7 there are two shifts: TK/K volunteers report to the PTO office at 11:45 AM, and grade 1–5 volunteers report to the school at 1:00 PM. From October 14, when TK/K dismissal moves to 1:15, there is one shift for the whole school — report to the school at 1:00 PM.

Drop-Off Attendant
Open doors and help kids exit cars in the morning. Volunteers should grab a blue vest inside the main entrance of the school. Expected commitment time is 30 minutes.
