Congratulations, Ortega! Open house and Silent Auction & Raffle were a huge success. Thank you teachers and staff for your dedication to our students and families. Thank you to our amazing fundraising coordinators- Amanda Gavin and Jasmine Sartain- for making the Silent Auction and Raffle fun and organized. Not all hero's wear capes... some wear APRONS! Today is Food Super Hero Day! To thank and honor Ortega's own Food Super Heros, Julie and Rosie, the Ortega PTO gave them cards, a gift card, and a special apron decorated by some of our young otters. Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week is next week. See the flyer below for information on the themes for each day. Please reach out to your room parent if you would like to contribute to your class's gifts.
Ortega's Carnival is on May 19th from 3-7. We need 191 volunteer shifts covered for Carnival! Please take a look to see how you can help out.
The Ortega PTO has board vacancies for the 2023-2024 term. Please use the nomination form to nominate yourself or someone you believe to be qualified. The Ortega PTO website PTO Nominations page has additional information.
On May 12th, at 8:45 AM (after drop off), the Ortega PTO will host a Meet and Greet in the library courtyard. On May 21th at 4:00 PM the Ortega PTO will host another Meet and Greet at A Grape In the Fog. All Ortega parents that come will be treated to one free glass of wine! Please join us. If you have any questions about the board positions, please email president@ortegapto.org. Nominations are due on May 24 at 3 PM.
